It is all fun except the running....

First, I'd like to thank ASI/Marathon. While I muse over which photos to purchase, I'll borrow your photos for this post. Michele and I coming across the finish with lots of other people.

Notice the smile. He is a happy runner. 2nd marathon this month for him!



O.k. so at least this pic shows that it takes some effort on his part to clip
along at about 7 min. a mile.


I admit when I saw this I thought, "Whoah cheeka you look strained. Hurt?" Actually, Michele and I were pretty regular and easy going the whole race, we talked about our kids, famlies, friends, and goals. Luckily the effort to run a half is less than half the effort for a full.

Elder White Fall 2018 in Connecticut Nine baptisms in one day! The start of an ongoing process drawing closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  Cleanest mission apartment. Yeah! Serving with Elder Duvalois at the Boston Temple. Cambridge, MASS Elder White has been serving in the Boston, Massachusetts Mission since Dec. 20, 2017 when he reported to the Provo, MTC. He has LOVED his mission and the opportunity it has given him to serve, learn and grow in the gospel. Currently he is serving in Hartford,Connecticut and enjoys being back in a big city. He is a zone leader and trainer. We are grateful for the choice he has made to serve a mission and dedicate two years of his life to learning more about the gospel and inviting others to draw closer to Jesus Christ.

Summer Wedding July 2024

It hardly looks like it. But it was the hottest day of summer 2024, 106 degrees.  July came in a solid "10"; ten consecutive days of triple digits.  When the fiery sun slipped into the cloud envelope the evening became much more charming.  Unfortunately, the bride was indoors kissed with heatstroke and never did come out  for her grand welcome to marriage.  Nonetheless, the wedding party oozed summer vibes and celebration.  Ice cream and gourmet lemonade was on tap to cool the guests. We were honored host.  The connection?  The bride's grandparents were former neighbors and church friends of ours  and the bride's aunt reached out to us.
