Institute Opening Social - Luau

At the start of every quarter, there is an opening social. 
Usually with games.
Always with food.
And always pool and ping pong!

I joke with Randy he gets paid to read scriptures and play pool and ping pong all day.  No wonder a lot of people want to do what he does.  Rough job!
 This time around they had robo-surfer.  Think bull ride in the "waves".  Super fun.


The guys went downstairs to practice their "Ka-ma'te" island dance while the girls stayed in the gym to learn the hula.  Cayleb learned it too!

Madalyn and I tried the hula, but Kenzie wanted me to hold her on my hip.
Another 35 pounds no matter where it is, makes shaking and swaying awkward.

Serving with Elder Duvalois at the Boston Temple. Cambridge, MASS Elder White has been serving in the Boston, Massachusetts Mission since Dec. 20, 2017 when he reported to the Provo, MTC. He has LOVED his mission and the opportunity it has given him to serve, learn and grow in the gospel. Currently he is serving in Hartford,Connecticut and enjoys being back in a big city. He is a zone leader and trainer. We are grateful for the choice he has made to serve a mission and dedicate two years of his life to learning more about the gospel and inviting others to draw closer to Jesus Christ.

Summer Wedding July 2024

It hardly looks like it. But it was the hottest day of summer 2024, 106 degrees.  July came in a solid "10"; ten consecutive days of triple digits.  When the fiery sun slipped into the cloud envelope the evening became much more charming.  Unfortunately, the bride was indoors kissed with heatstroke and never did come out  for her grand welcome to marriage.  Nonetheless, the wedding party oozed summer vibes and celebration.  Ice cream and gourmet lemonade was on tap to cool the guests. We were honored host.  The connection?  The bride's grandparents were former neighbors and church friends of ours  and the bride's aunt reached out to us.
